Drop a file, get a direct shareable link, and manage longer-lived uploads with an account.

Filebin takes any file up to 100 MB and gives back a direct download link. Anonymous uploads are capped at 10 MB per file and twenty an hour, and expire after thirty days; signing in raises the limits, keeps the uploads, and adds file management. Expiry is optional, so a link can be permanent when that is what you want.

Everything the web interface does is also available from a REST API, the pbca command-line tool, and a Model Context Protocol server for agent tooling, all on the same Pastebin.ca account.

History

The first Filebin.ca launched in 2007 alongside Pastebin.ca and Imagebin.ca. It covered the case those two did not: sometimes the useful thing to send is the original file, not a paste of its contents or a screenshot of it.

The current service carries the original history and legacy data forward, and shares an account with the rest of the family.
