Doings.ca
Type a plan the way you would say it, share the link, and let everyone vote before the idea evaporates.
Write an idea the way you would say it out loud, like “dinner Thursday at 6pm” or “Kesha at Rogers Place next Friday”, and Doings works out the title, date, place, and price. Paste a link to a ticket page and it does the same thing from the page. Everything it guesses stays editable before you post it.
Getting a group together
Start a group, give it a name and an emoji, and share the link. Anyone who clicks it is in. Ideas go into the group as they occur to people, half-formed dates included.
Deciding
Everyone votes yes, no, or maybe, and anyone can propose a different date when the original does not work for them. Overlapping plans are flagged automatically, so nobody ends up agreeing to two things on the same evening.
Daily or weekly digests go out by email, SMS, or Discord, in each person’s own timezone, with events that have already happened left out.
The homepage runs the parser before anyone signs in, which is the quickest way to find out whether it understands the kind of plans you make.
