Guitar playing, music production experiments, and audio tinkering.
Music has been a constant background thread in my life—playing guitar since high school, dabbling in production software, and more recently getting into synthesizers and audio engineering through my emulator project.
Guitar
I’ve played acoustic and electric guitar for years, mostly self-taught. Nothing professional—just enough to jam, write the occasional song, and enjoy the instrument. My guitars have moved with me through a dozen apartments and houses.
Production & Synthesis
The emulator project got me deep into audio DSP and synthesis. Building modem sounds and audio sonification taught me more about oscillators, filters, and signal processing than years of casual interest ever did.
I’ve also experimented with:
- Ableton Live for production
- Web Audio API for browser-based synthesis
- Hardware synths (still building the collection)
Listening
My tastes are all over the map—electronic, jazz, classical, prog rock, ambient. The common thread is usually interesting production or unusual time signatures.
